Developmental Focus

In many instances, this is the first experience the child has of being away from his or her parents. Our younger preschool program is designed to provide your child with a nurturing and peaceful environment, which is crucial for their first experiences away from home.  

Toddlers engage in hands-on activities that foster independence, coordination, and concentration. They learn essential social skills like taking turns, sharing, and patience at their own pace, ensuring a comfortable transition to a structured learning environment.

 

Each day is filled with stimulating activities, including: 

• Circle Time: Engaging discussions and interactive group activities. 
• Arts and Crafts: Creative projects that inspire imagination. 
• Storytelling and Songs: Enriching verbal skills through literature and music. 
• Interactive Zoology: Discovering the wonders of the animal kingdom. 
• Spanish: Introducing a second language early on. 

Children also work on puzzles and read picture books, in addition to engaging in practical life and sensory activities. We frequently update activities to meet the evolving interests and challenges of our children. From mastering small motor skills, like holding crayons and gluing, to introducing foundational concepts in letters, sounds, numbers, shapes, and colors, we lay the groundwork for lifelong learning.  

Children thrive in our safe, loving, and gentle atmosphere, which not only comforts them but also helps parents feel at ease during this crucial transition. Our qualified teachers collaborate with families on essential developmental milestones, including the exciting journey of potty training.
